Working Together for All Students
Services for ParentsAdvocacy- Understanding and navigating the educational system is difficult. Having someone to help can make a significant difference in your child's school experience.
As a parent advocate, we will accompany you to any meeting, review any paperwork and help clarify any proposed evaluations or services. In addition, a parent advocate can help the parent be heard and ensure meaningful participation in their child's education. Independent Educational Evaluation- When a school conducts an evaluation of a child and the parent does not agree with the results of the evaluation, the parent has the right to receive an independent educational evaluation paid for by the school. |
